Heat and drought tolerant vigorous, low-growing manzanita. Rich foliage, nice flowers, red bark and baby apple fruits make this a great groundcover, even good for Japanese gardens! Easy and adaptable.

Pigeon Point Dwarf Coyote Brush - Baccharis pilularis var. pilularis 'Pigeon Point'
Medum green, evergreen, fire-resistant groundcover. Great for slopes. Water every 7-10 days in summer to keep looking its best. "Pigeon Point" if the preferred form over "Twin Peaks" as it doesn't die out in the middle. Fast to 9 feet across by 1 foot high in two years. Clay tolerant.

Nice evergreen groundcover superficially resembling a sage. 6-8' across by 1-2' high. Fire resistant if given water every 7-10 days. Only maintenance is an occasional shearing to remove seed heads.
